Governance and strategic sustainability (2017–2023)
Six-year tenure on the Board of Directors of Equatorial Maranhão, participating in deliberations related to capital allocation, budget approval, regulatory performance indicators (DEC/FEC), capital structure and enterprise risk oversight.
During the COVID-19 crisis, the Board operated under one of the most challenging environments for the Brazilian power distribution sector, balancing liquidity preservation, operational continuity, workforce protection and regulatory compliance.
The experience provided hands-on exposure to fiduciary duties within a publicly traded regulated utility, including risk monitoring, performance oversight and high-impact strategic decision-making.
Chairing Shareholders’ Meetings and executive interface
On two occasions, appointed to chair the General Shareholders’ Meeting, formally conducting deliberations, voting procedures and corporate resolutions.
